The recruitment target of the child Legislative Officer Systemis students in grades 4-6 of elementary school, and grades 5-6 of elementary school are the period when law-related education begins in the social studies curriculum. The purpose of this article is to propose measures to ensure that the child legislative officer system is operated more reliably. To achieve this purpose, the legal and pedagogical background of the children’s legislative officer system was first presented (I), the current status and characteristics of the children’s legislative officer were identified (II), problems were analyzed, and improvement measures were presented (III). Finally, the above discussions were summarized and the direction of the children’s legislator system was proposed, and the article was completed (IV). As a result of the discussion, the current child legislative officer system is an experience program that realizes national sovereignty centered on student participation, and has the advantage of inducing active participation of students by utilizing the mileage system. However, some selected students share their experience of activities, so they do not disclose the activity or output of the program. It is difficult to get advice from law-related education experts because prior research on the child legislative officer system is not conducted, and the legislative program is carried out without considering the connection of the elementary school social studies curriculum. Therefore, for the substantial operation of the children’s legislator, first, it is necessary to disclose the contents of the activities so that experts can receive feedback on the data and contents of the child legislative officer’s activities. Second, it is necessary to provide a textbook. Third, it is necessary to combine basic rights education in accordance with the content system of the social studies curriculum.
